In 2025, our first year, we’ll host the Trash to FASHION Ball, an inclusive, family-friendly, zero-waste trashion making and celebration event that is open to the public and free to attend with advance registration.

We need your help to bring this event to life.

Are you a professional, retiree, or at-home caregiver seeking an opportunity to help build community by contributing to a project that merges arts and environmental activism? Or are you a grad school, college, or high school student seeking to gain experience that may help you land a job in your desired field?

Trash to Fashion may have the perfect short-term volunteer role for you. Please answer this brief survey so we can get to know you.

What You’ll Gain

Networking with Trash to Fashion’s incredible volunteer advisory council. Hailing from a variety of professional backgrounds (arts administration, event planning, nonprofit administration, costume design, photography, visual art, writing, entrepreneurism, and social innovation), we are individuals passionate about art, environmental justice, and community building. You’ll also gain mentoring from an experienced event planner, writer, trashionista, and award-winning social entrepreneur. Depending on the role, you may also gain mentoring from an artist-entrepreneur-gallery director.
